The Multiplication Factor

Growth in Uganda

It has been said that the size of our success is determined by the size of our belief!

This is certainly the case with the multiplication of Pastor’s and Leader’s Conferences sponsored by Mission Driven Africa Institute in the East African country of Uganda.

Our first conference was held in Kyenjojo District, in western Uganda in February, 2025.  564 registered.

5 of these came from the other end of the country in Mbale District near the Kenyan border.  They returned home and contacted us about sponsoring the same conference.  415 came to Mbale City in October, 2024.

One of these registrants was a pastor from Jinja, the second largest city in Uganda.  He returned home and shared with the Jinja Pastor’s Evangelical Network of that city.  A date for late July, 2025 was set.  300 came.

In attendance were two National Overseers of their respective denominations.  They approached us and wondered how many conferences we could handle in a year.  As a result of this discussion, two more conferences were scheduled in Kalaki and Lira Districts in northeast Uganda.  The Kalaki Conference occurred in June, 2026 with 325 registered.  At the last minute, the Lira Conference was canceled due to an Ebola scare.

One of the registrants at the Kalaki Conference pastors a large rural church halfway between Jinja and Mbale in Eastern Uganda.  He stated that if we come to his church in 2027, he can guarantee 500 to 600 from four rural districts in that region.

Discussions are also underway to hold a large conference in 2027 in the capital city of Kampala.  

Each of the above conferences will take place annually as funds are made possible.

Jesus once said, “Everything is possible for those who believe” (Mark 9:23).  It really is true that the size of our success is determined by the size of our belief.
